2018 - 2021

The renovation of this 1960's detached property creates open plan living space for a young family. The property had undergone numerous extensions over the years, whilst floor area was not an issue the layout was flawed. The design sought to rationalise the layout of the ground floor linking spaces across the rear of the house and​ connecting them to the newly landscaped garden.​

The scope of the project included structural alterations, new windows and doors, electrical re-wiring, a new energy efficient heating system and ventilation systems. Bespoke kitchen and bathroom design was incorporated to enhance the property and meet the clients brief.

The interior and exterior of the house have been overhauled on budget with the majority of the work undertaken by the owner themselves. Selecting fixtures and fittings that are robust and can be installed and detailed within the skill and ability of the DIY enthusiast.

The project capitalises on functional design to enable stress free living for a growing family.
